Part of the IDI culture is deep rooted in giving back to the community and serving others. Many of the IDI personnel are encouraged to get involved in service clubs and giving back to the community with paid time off. IDI Multimedia participated in the following community service activities and projects over the past few years.
March of Dimes
John Grzejka served on the National Capital Area Board of Directors from 2005-2008 and served as Prince William County Revenue Chair from 2003 through 2006, helping to raise in excess of $500,000 for the March of Dimes Pre-maturity campaign.
Youth Sports
Chris Comeau, William Campbell, and John Grzejka are all involved in coaching and mentoring our youth through sports. Whether sponsoring or coaching baseball, basketball, soccer, or football teams, our staff believes that the future of our country lies with our youth.
Rotary Clubs
John Grzejka served President of the Gainesville-Haymarket Rotary Club in 2007-08 and held multiple committee heads. Under his leadership, the Club received the distinguished President citation.
IDI has supported the Gainesville-Haymarket Children’s Wellness Festival the past three years. The Children’s Wellness Festival screens at risk youth for serious medical and dental issues. Currently, William Campbell serves as the Clubs Service Chairman and is planning multiple local and international service projects. John Grzejka serves on the Board of Directors for the Gainesville-Haymarket Rotary Foundation.
Haiti Earthquake Aid
Shortly following the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti, IDI Multimedia contributed to purchasing a Shelter Box. The Shelter Box project is a Rotary International sponsored project that provides disaster relief for a family of up to 10 people. For more information on how to support the Shelter Box project visit http://www.shelterbox.org/
Charity Golf Tournaments
The IDI team has a passion for golf! When team members can support a local or national charity while playing golf, we are in. In the past few years, our group has supported the American Red Cross, Manassas Rotary Club’s Lou Maroon Scholarship, Prince William Hospital Foundation, B.A.R.N, Battlefield Boosters and Osbourn Athletic Boosters golf tournaments, and many other organizational activities.
