This interactive multimedia CD-ROM is an educational and entertainment title showcasing the past 100 years of Nobel Prize Laureates, and their innovations.
IDI designed, produced, and developed this multimedia encyclopedia of Nobel Laureates of the past 100 years.
IDI worked closely with the Hillmand and Carr Advertising, and The Smithsonian Lemelson Center in Washington DC to develop this engaging entertainment title.
Video was used extensively throughout the multimedia presentation. We used QuickTime Sorenson due to the format's high quality and reduced file sizes.
All of the digital video is Section 508 compliant, including open captioning for the hearing impaired.
IDI continues to enhance all of our multimedia for Section 508 compliance, and strives to make presentations accessible to people with impairments.
A searchable multimedia database is included as a tool for the audience to quickly find the name, and biographical information of over 700 Nobel Laureates.
The entire CD-ROM is also indexed for quick navigation to all sections of the multimedia CD-ROM. A Table of Contents is also included. |
